The Night Owl

I am starting to think that Levi is a night owl. During the day he is the most precious baby you will ever meet. Like I said you can pass him around and kiss on him and he is totally fine with everything. Then bed time comes around. Now it is a little early for him to have a 8 o'clock bed time or something like that. He goes to bed when we do. Something might change there. Last night he slept in our room in his pack and play. Wait....I just figured it out. Pack and PLAY. Ok This post is over.

Ok never mind here is our night. But he is still finding a new place to sleep. When we first put him down man he was crying like he lost his favorite stuffed animal or something. Janelle was trying her best to figure what was up and make Levi stop crying and SLEEP. She couldn't, then I came in and puff silent. :) Gotta love Dad. haha 10 minutes later water works. Ok so it wasn't just me. Come to find out he was hot. He was wearing this one piece outfit that was huge on him, he is going to get good use out of his new born cloths. So we got that fixed and time for bed. Hour later feeding. Then up for a hour, wide eyed and bushy tailed. His eyes are so blue and just amazing to look at. So that is fun but not at 2am. Feeding is done, wake time is done finally bed. Hour later crying just like before. Great. Now what? After 45 min of investigation, rear blow out. Which by the way looking more and more like poop. Weird. Then he was up more due to crying then up wide eyed for another hour. And i would LOVE that in the day time just not when i am sleeping. But all in all he is doing great and we are learning every minute of the day. I just wish he would switch his day time and night time patterns.

  1. Go out and pick up the book, The Baby Whisperer by Tracy Hogg. I swear the author knows her stuff. It worked with Carver and its working with Asher and give us sleep. She's amazing.
